Leonardo Da Vinci
Leonardo Da Vinci was a famous inventor and artist that lived from 1452 to 1519. One of the things he invented were moving barricades. He invented many more things like a steam cannon and an flying machine that weren't built. He was also a famous artist painting the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper. He inspired many artist and inventors.
Johannes Gutenberg
Johannes Gutenberg lived in Southern Germany for all of his 70 years. He invented the printing press. This invention greatly affected Europe. It helped knowledge spread and because books became more numerous and less expensive the literacy rate skyrocketed.
Galileo Galilei
Galileo Galilei was a famous scientist who furthered science to an almost impossible degree and invented the telescope. The telescope led to the discovery of the other planets and helped astrologers understand more about space.
Robert Boyle
Robert Boyle is known as the father of chemistry and also was a philosopher and an inventor. Robert Boyle invented the match which was a very important invention considering we still use matches today.
