Rebecca Munsterman
This is my sixth year as the Media Specialist here at Ridgeway. I am originally from the St. Louis area where I worked as a reading intervention teacher for a few years and then a few years as a fourth-grade teacher. On nights and weekends you could often find me at the public library checking out large stacks of books or working the circulation desk. I decided to get a masters in Library Science and Information Technology to combine my love of teaching and libraries. I began classes through Mizzou Online, not knowing my husband’s job would move us to Columbia and I would be able to finish the program in person! We have now been in Columbia for six years and are glad to call this city home. I love being part of the Ridgeway Family and sharing my passion of getting students excited about reading and learning with technology. When I am not at school, you can still often find me browsing the shelves at the public library or at home spending time with my husband and baby girl.
Cara Aronhalt
I’m Cara Aronhalt and this is my second year at Ridgeway as a Media Instructional Aide. I spent a large part of my teaching career in Special Education and then took a break to stay home with my children for a few years. My family consists of my husband and I, our two kids (at Ridgeway), a German Shepherd, two English Springer Spaniel puppies, and a cat… so now you also know what my “free time” consists of! 😊 Our family also enjoys hiking and running, and we are very involved with the Blue Thunder Track Club.
