Happy October!
This school year has been off to a speedy start, and learning is in full swing!
Many thanks to all of the hardworking staff and volunteers. Thank you for helping with the Jog-a-Thon, our biggest fundraiser of the year. Thank you for your generous contributions to help enhance our programs for our students.

Pick up and Drop Off Traffic
* Some families are parking in the pick up area very early. While I understand that you don't want to be late to pick up your child, if you are picking up an older student who is dismissed at 2:07, please come later. This will give parents who are picking up students dismissed at 2:01 a chance to pick up first, and get out of the area, preventing as much congestion waiting for the pick up area.
* Please respect our neighbors' driveways, and do not park in front of their garages on the street. Neighbors have been blocked in their garage, or prevented from pulling into their garage by cars parking in front of their driveway on Sunset.
* Please do not drop off students on the street on Channel Islands, and use the drop off area instead. Some people are stopping in the street, making all of the cars behind them wait, and causing congestion. The drop off area moves very quickly, so please wait to drop off your child in the drop off area. This is for the safety of students, and to prevent added traffic.
* Please model good traffic safety by using the crosswalk, and not crossing in the middle of the street. This will keep all students safe.
