Summary
About half an hour after a major earthquake in Pakistan, the people of Gwadar were shocked to find a new island about a kilometer from their shores. The oval shaped island is about 250ft to 300ft long, and about 60 to 70ft above the water. Most of the island was muddy, with one area completely made of solid rock. Methane gas was oozing from the quake island. They soon discovered it to be a mud volcano which are common there.
