The MS Spelling Bee was held on Jan. 23rd. Congratulations to Mya Risner (8th gr.) champion (right) and Melody Gallaspie (6th gr) runner up. Mya will now will move on to represent Elida at the county bee on February 23rd. Good luck!
ACT Prep Workshop
For current Elida juniors who will be taking the ACT test at EHS on March 12th: An ACT Prep Course will be held at the High School on Feb. 16th (10-4:00) and 17th (1-4:00). The course is instructed by "take ACTion" at a cost of $125. Go to takeactiontestprep.com for more information and to register or see your counselor for an informational sheet. Seating is limited and the class will close once seats are filled.

Delay Day: Breakfast is Served!
Because we know the importance of a good start to the day, the middle & high school are now able to continue offering breakfast to students even on delay days.Students can just visit the cafeteria upon arriving.

EHS Spring Musical: Newsies Ticket Sales Begin February 14th
The Spring Musical Newsies is coming!
March 14, 15, 16 at 7:30pm
March 17th at 4:00pm
“Newsies The Musical” is based on the 1992 musical film Newsies, which was inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899.Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right.
Ticket Prices:
$12 Premiere Seating any age
Regular Reserved Seating $10 Adults, $6 Students
Kindergarten Registration for 2019-20 School Year
Screening Dates will be Friday, May 24th & Tuesday, May 28th. Appointments beginning at 8:00 am and ending at 2:00 pm.
