Welcome Back, to Term 4!!!
Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians
Welcome back to all of our St Elizabeth’s families. We hope you all had a wonderful break and had some time to relax and recharge. We have two new families who have joined our St Elizabeth’s community this term. We would like to warmly welcome them to our school.
On Monday our staff were lead by CEWA School Consultants continuing our work on our Vision for Learning. It was a very interactive day and staff worked in small groups to further develop their understanding of the document and how to implement it effectively in the classroom.
On Monday Missy Farmer delivered our magnificent artwork, based on the story of the Rainbow Serpent reflecting our local Yellagonga Regional Park. It will be proudly on display in our new office and will be incorporated in our yarning circle in the future.
Please keep Sue Curtis and her family in your prayers as her dad, sadly passed away over the school holidays. Sue will be away for the first two weeks of term and Sofia Bonomelli will be relieving in the Year Four classroom in Sue’s absence.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff in the kindergarten and pre-primary classes, as well as the parents for their support and effort in setting up on the day and helping to raise funds for the Ride-a-thon. It was a wonderful morning seeing all the students and their bikes, trikes and scooters lined up. To our grandparents and parents that came to watch, thank you, Well done!
Today the Year 4 - 6 staff and students attended the Beginning of Term Mass at St Anthony’s, lead by Fr. Lennard. It was wonderful to see our parishioners, St Anthony’s and St Elizabeth’s staff and students join together as one, to begin the term. All students read beautifully and displayed reverence throughout the mass.
Wishing all of our staff, students and families a wonderful weekend.
In gratitude
Emma Fernandez
Acting Principal

BOWS FUNDRAISER
We have teamed up with a small local business, "Addicted to Bows", who make gorgeous hair accessories in our school colours.
To help with our ongoing fundraising efforts, we will receive a donation of at least 30% for each direct order.
Not only will this donation help our school with future projects, but we hope it will also encourage students to uphold our uniform policy and wear the school colours with pride.
To assist you with your purchasing, samples of the hair bows and hair ties will be available for viewing in the front office from the beginning of term 4.
All orders need to be submitted by 5pm WST Friday 20th October and bows will be delivered to school for distribution from Friday 17th November 2023.
Thankyou for your continued support

Containers for Change
This year the Year 6 students are raising money through the Containers for Change initiative to donate to LifeLink. If you and your family have spare cans or bottles that you would like to contribute to our school collection, please scan this barcode when you are returning your containers, every container counts!
