PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
At last night’s Board Meeting, the Board of Education confirmed that hybrid instruction will begin at Lincoln on January 19. Earlier this week, parents were mailed copies of their child’s schedule for hybrid learning and we have prepared an overview of what the hybrid day and schedule will look like.
I want to assure students who have never been inside Lincoln that we are planning a safe orientation for you which will help you be more comfortable in our classrooms and hallways. I plan to host Zoom meetings for parents before our hybrid schedule starts. I imagine that the overview and schedule will answer many of your questions. Click here to submit your questions about hybrid learning. This will give me an idea of what's on your mind. Please watch for an email from me with links to Parent Zoom Information Meetings when I can review your frequently asked questions.
Thank you for your patience and confidence as we begin this new school-day format. I am sure that it will take some time for all of us, families and staff alike, to adjust to our new schedule. We are looking forward to having students in our building once again and strive to offer a safe environment in which we can teach and learn together.
Paul Suminski

. . . AN OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT D57 FAMILIES IN NEED
COVID-19 has presented many unique hardships and challenges for some of our family members, friends and neighbors. Some parents have asked if it’s possible to make a financial donation to help support District 57 families who are currently in need. The District has set up a system to facilitate this for anyone who is interested. We will distribute the collected funds to families, based on formal requests that are made. If you would like to donate, simply go to this link and click “Make a one-time payment.” Fill in your student’s name, school and grade, and click “COVID-19 Donation to District 57 Families.” Fill in your information and donation amount, then proceed to the payment section. Thank you so much, in advance, for your kindness and generosity.
Those who are in need of support can fill out this online form. Names will only be seen by select District personnel who are distributing the funds. Thank you.
