Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences
Don't forget to sign up for a spring conference with your child's teacher. Conferences will again be held via Zoom. You can go to the Brookwood Elementary Conference Scheduler to schedule your appointment.
Wednesday, March 2 is a Digital Learning Day
On March 2nd, GCPS will have a digital learning day for ALL students. We are grateful for the opportunity to have this day to allow teachers to plan future lessons for students as well as hold parent/teacher conferences.
On this Digital Learning Day:
- Students can find all their lessons and assignments on eCLASS, but there will be no live instruction. Please view the video below for directions on how to get to your teacher's eCLASS page.
All students will complete their special area class digitally. More information is on the Brookwood ES homepage.
Meals will be delivered along all bus routes.
March 3rd is an Early Release Day!
Students will be dismissed at 12:50 pm on Thursday, March 3rd. Please send a note to school on this date if any transportation changes are necessary due to the early dismissal!
New Drop Off Procedure for Skills & Games Club and 5th Grade Intramurals
If you have a student who attends either Skills & Games Club or 5th Grade Intramurals, please drop for these activities at the front doors of the school building.

Gwinnett Public Schools' Tapestry Art Show celebrates artistic talent from across the school district. It is a special honor to have your work chosen for this show, and featured artists should be proud of their hard work and talent. The Brookwood Cluster will celebrate with a gathering at the Gwinnett County Public Schools Instructional Support Center on Friday, February 25th from 5:30 - 7:00pm.

We apologize for the delay distributing thank you gifts. Due to supply chain issues, the KHC warehouse has had difficulty getting in all the supplies for thank you gifts, and there has been a delay in getting them to Brookwood Elementary. Thank you gifts will be delivered just as soon as they come in to the school.Thank you again for your support!

Help support Brookwood Elementary School's Relay for Life Team during Re'Lei Hawaiian Week. Donations will be collected each day during arrival. Students can donate each day or as a one time $5 payment.
A MESSAGE FROM The BES HEALTH RESPONSE TEAM
Did you know that Brookwood ES has a Health Response Team (HRT) which manages and communicates COVID related information with staff, students and parents? The HRT gathers information, conducts contact investigations and communicates as needed. In the next few months, it is important that you continue to alert the school if your child develops symptoms or tests positive for the virus.
Common symptoms include:
Fever (100.4 or higher), Cough, Shortness of breath, muscle/body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, congestion/runny nose, nausea/vomiting, sore throat, fatigue

Join Crews Middle School's Bronco Orchestra
Crews Middle School invites you and your rising 6th grader to meet the orchestra teachers and learn more about the Bronco Orchestra. Your student will be participating in a Zoom visit with the Crews Middle School's orchestra teachers during an upcoming music class.
You and your student will also have the opportunity to try out orchestra instruments at the Instrument Petting Zoo events:
- Tuesday, March 22, 1-3pm
- Thursday, March 31, 5-7pm

In just 4 weeks, we’ll kick off our Brookwood Elementary School Fun Run on March 23rd! Our goal is to raise $40,000 for technology and to strengthen our school community. This year more than ever, we need additional funds to provide an excellent educational experience for all of our students. We completely understand if your family is not in a position to financially support the school right now. 2022 Bronco Aces
Bronco Aces Club is for future Brookwood Bronco tennis players ages 14 and under. They will be hosting the Bronco Aces Tennis Fun Days on Sunday, March 6th, 20th, and 27th. Elementary and middle school students will get a chance to receive instruction from the Brookwood Tennis Coaches as well as the Brookwood JV and Varsity tennis teams. Middle School Summer Adventures: Career Exploration at Maxwell High School of Technology
The Summer Adventure Career Exploration at Maxwell High School will run May 31 - June 3 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. The Career Exploration programs are designed for current 5th - 8th graders. Students can choose to explore programs in the careers of animation, automotive services, cosmetology, culinary arts, and more.
