Happy New Year Mills Families,
Our year has been one of growth and successes, both academically and socially. Although we may have had some early struggles, we are deeply grateful for each and every one of you. Every day of learning brings us joy and emphasizes what matters most-our students. Happy New Year to all of our Mills families and we wish everyone health and happiness in 2022. Remember to take care of yourselves and each other.
Congratulations to our Trojan of the Month Winners from December!

Updated School Guidance from IDPH (Illinois Department of Public Health)
EPCUSD401 Superintendent, Dr. Gauthier, recently shared the updated school guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). In short, the new guidance is in place for any new cases of quarantine or isolation. If your child is currently in quarantine or isolation and is set to return on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, you will keep the current plan and have your child return at that time.
If your child has a return date later than January 18, 2022 you will be contacted by the end of this week by the school on what the revised return to school date is. The new guidance can be found here and we are doing our best to pivot quickly and adjust.
5Essentials Survey
We appreciate the support, encouragement, and understanding as we continue to find ways to navigate the pandemic and provide the best education experience for your student(s). Here is a link to a parent survey called the 5Essentials. We encourage you to take the time to complete the survey and provide meaningful feedback to the administration and teachers for continuous improvement opportunities. Thank you in advance for your time and participation.
