Romeo Agra male aged 62 with Acute Coronary syndrome with non ST elevation ischemic changes – known case of Hypertension/NIDDM/Hyperlipedemia/Smoker who was admitted and discharged from a Medical center at Jerusalem Israel was for planned transportation to home country Manila Philippines on Commercial airlines on Business class – wheel chair with oxygen standby/POC with a Doctor Medical escort.
On receiving the transportation request – we arranged a Doctor Medical escort – Dr Hasan Ali Bulak who flew from our base in Turkey to be positioned at Israel on the same day.
Dr Hasan Ali Bulak traveled to the patient friend residence in Jerusalem and assessed the patient. The Patient vital parameters were stable. He was afebrile, P- 90/min, BP 150/90 mm hg, SPo2 – 99% on room air, chest clear, patient was breathing normal with no evidence of chest discomfort. Patient was happy to travel back home at the earliest.
Patient was ground transported to Ben Gurion Airport and was checked in on a priority basis. He was placed in the lounge and had light food. His vitals were stable and he was comfortable.
The flight from Israel to Beijing was uneventful. All vitals were stable. Patient maintained normal parameters and oxygen saturation with no oxygen supplement. Patient had light meal and had naps intermittently. Toilet assistance was provided to the patient.
On landing at Beijing airport, patient was wheel chaired to the lounge. Arrangement was made in the sleeping room for the rest of the patient. His vitals remain stable. After rest and food, patient and medical escort boarded the flight from Beijing to Manila.
On landing at Manila Philippines, patient wheel chaired to the waiting car for travel home.
