From Ms. Bibik
As we close out the first month of the school year, I hope you and your child are settling into the school year routine. Here at school, we are seeing students connecting and thriving in their courses and during our Panther Time. I hope that you follow us on Facebook as we post events and happenings each week.
Often parents ask how they can support their child to best ensure success. Educational research tells us that a child’s success is influenced by several factors, including the home environment. Children who are provided a variety of experiences, have opportunities for regular family interaction, and are provided with intellectual stimulation at home have the best chance of doing well academically. I encourage you to set aside time each day to talk and interact with your child. Something as simple as a regular family dinner time, family game nights, or a family visit to a park or museum are wonderful opportunities to stay connected, responsive, and involved.
Thank you for being such wonderful family partners to RMS. You help us be #RMSbetterthanEVER!
