Uranus

Uranus was discovered in 1781. It is the 7th planet in our solar system. The physical properties of Uranus are Hydrogen, helium, and methane. The planet is mostly made up of ice and water.
It takes 84 earth years to complete 1 orbit. The Equatorial is 25,559. The polar is 24,973. The average distance from the sun is 1,783,953,996 miles. The length of day is 17.23 hours long.
Uranus only has about 89% of the force of gravity that earth has. On Uranus a person would just go right through the surface of Helium, and Hydrogen into the the liquid icy center. It doesn't really have a surface like earth. Earth has land and water.

Uranus is different from earth in many ways. There is no life on Uranus. The gasses in the atmosphere on Uranus are Hydrogen, Helium, and Methane. The core of Uranus is about the size of earth. The two missions are voyager 1 and 2. They are exploring the outer solar system and visiting the planets of Neptune and Uranus.

Uranus has 27 moons and 13 rings. The core of Uranus is made up of ice and gas. The core is the size of earth. Roman mythology named the planet after the greek god Ouranos.

Is mostly hydrogen and helium with small amounts of methane and traces of water and ammonia. Uranus has a very cold and icy atmosphere with tempatures as cold as -300 degrees fahrenheit. Small amounts of water have been found on Uranus.

It is tillted and many scientists believe it was hit by a meter. Uranus was found in 1781 by an astrnomere named William Hurschel. Uranus is about 4 times bigger than Earth.
If you weigh 100 pounds on earth you weigh 91 pounds on Uranus . The diameter of Uranus is 51,118 km and 12,742 km across. There is no life and you can't live there because you can't survive in temperatures -330 degrees Fahrenheit.
