Nightly Homework Practice
**We will begin sending home a sight word list each week. Students need to practice recognizing/reading these words each night. We will have recognition tests on Fridays on these words. I will send home a list of suggested activities you can do with your child to help them begin to recognize these words. Sight word recognition is very important-90% of texts students read are sight words (words that cannot be sounded out).
