District Required Professional Development

You may have heard me and a few others referencing a few required trainings that have moved to an online format in Schoology for 2018-19. District training courses are now ready for professional staff that may wish to knock them out before we return to work in the fall. The first is "Required District Trainings" course and the second is the newly revamped "Level Up". As of today staff members may use the course codes below to access the trainings and hold on to their digital certificates until August. When we return in the fall, there will be a new procedure of allowing staff to upload those professional development certificates into ePortal. Those instructions will come later.

The "Required District Trainings" course includes the usual nurses' presentations, counseling info and ethics info. Each folder will produce its own completion certificate. The newly revamped "Level Up" is now required technology training for all classroom teachers. It is shorter and updated, and also completely automated so no one will need to monitor your teachers' completion.

Over the next few weeks, a link will be created in ePortal to guide people to the courses in an effort to keep marketing them. The link aagin to the iTech Nation "Digital Boot Camp" playlist is here to help teachers prepare files for reconfiguration.
