Monday: Recognizing & Respecting Boundaries pg. 127

*Affirm young people's right to privacy and to express themselves

*Respecting personal boundaries in discussions

*Assist students in creating personalized boundaries

*the value of clear communication of personal boundaries

*It is okay if you trusted the wrong person with your privacy

*No one has the right to make fun of you

* If it is believed someone did something for attention, it doesn't mean it was done for everyone's attention

*Someone's embarrassment should not be entertainment

* You have the right to say no to if you don't like what someone is doing or saying

*You have the right to be listened to by the person who is making you uncomfortable

Friday: Sexual Harassment pg. 133

*To revisit other lessons to define personal boundaries

*To explain and give account of types of sexual harassment

*To aide in recognizing and respecting one's own boundaries for unwanted, and wanted, sexual attention

*Challenge assumptions all boys want sexual attention

*Become aware of harassment the LGBTQ students face (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning)

*People who sexually harass don't always understand or intend to harass you.

*Give the harasser an opportunity to change by clearing communicating what you don't want and ask to stop.

*Sexual harassment can make people dread school, activities they use to enjoy, or even everyday functions.

*Sexual harassment is against the law and school policy

*If you do not like the attention given you, you have the right to be left alone.
