Blaze Bulletin

Edition 35 - Week of May 23rd

Greetings...

Dear Teachers,

Thank you for your work this year. It was a most unusual year with all of the testing - and testing changes - then more testing. You were flexible and professional, and we appreciate you. You continued to teach at high levels and you maintained higher yet expectations. Sometimes, that's the hardest thing to do! I hope you all enjoy a much-deserved summer break full of rest and enjoyment.

Due to multiple moves happening in the next week, we are all in the "jeans" zone for the rest of the year!

Please help folks around you!

Sincerely,

Dr. Leisa Justus

New procedures for leave requests begin next school year

Beginning next school year, all daily leave requests for periods of five days or less will be completed electronically, replacing the paper format used currently. PESG is our new substitute teacher vendor and includes this service as part of their contract. All employees will receive training on the new vendor program. Watch for additional information and complete instructions coming soon on the Human Resources website.

Technology Minute

This week’s Technology Minute focuses on Microsoft Office: Installed vs Web-Based. You can use Microsoft Office that is installed on your computer as well as a web-based version of Microsoft Office. It can sometimes be confusing to know which version you are using. This week’s technology minute will help you to understand the difference.
