Message from the Office
Dear Parents & Students,
A Prayer for the Fourth Sunday of Advent
Jesus, you are constantly coming to your people, even when we fail to see you.
In each and every moment that we are blessed to recognize you here and now, give us the courage to leap with joy at your coming.
Amen
God Bless

Christmas Eve Mass at OLPH Church
Dear Parents,
This year we have added a Mass downstairs at 6:30pm.
This Mass is geared toward our youth. The music, the homily and the ministries are meant to appeal to and be understood by our youth.
Please consider making this Mass the one you attend.

Quebec Trip Fundraising Update!!!
VOYAGE QUEBEC EVENT & FUNDRAISING UPDATE
It's been a busy fall with fundraising activities for the 2018 Voyage Quebec. Thank you VERY much for everyone's participation to make it successful. We look forward to keeping the momentum going through the winter and spring!
CHRISTMAS CASH RAFFLE:
Merci to all the families who have participated in our Christmas Cash Raffle so far. There are still 2 days left to sell your tickets!

SPRING FUNDRAISING & PUB NIGHT PLANNING SESSION - Monday, Jan 8 - School Library - 7-8pm.
At this meeting, we are looking for more ideas for late winter/spring fundraisers and people willing to head them. The second half of the meeting will focus on getting parents' input on our pub night (Feb 23 - see details below). There are so many great ideas out there for generating funds at a pub night and we want to hear them!! We will keep the meeting brief and informative - we are looking for parents' interest going forward in fundraising for the spring.
PUB NIGHT - Friday, February 23 at Average Joe's in Sherwood Park.
Based on your feedback regarding the original date of Dec 15. being too soon/too close to Christmas, we have moved it to allow us to maximize our reach for tickets, auction items and cash-generating games and ideas at the pub night. We will confirm ticket prices, quantities and family commitments AFTER we meet on January 8 and receive more input from YOU. A big thank you to David St. Jean for generating a TON of neat auction items and prizes already - more information will be available on Jan 8. The proposed date of February 24 (to coincide with Oilers away game) was booked at Average Joe's so we opted for the same weekend/different night.
TRIP TOTALS:
Emails will be sent out to families individually the last week of January detailing the amount of money you have raised from the various activities you've participated in. This coincides with the end of Hot Lunch Cycle 1 and will give you an idea of how much you would like to be involved for the second half of the year.
As always, we encourage feedback and participation from ALL families. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
Thank you very much for your support!
