Principals Message
Yeah! We did it! We had a fantastic school year! There were so many memorable events that happened this year such as our Ice Cream Social, fun projects in all classrooms, Winter Wonderland, 6th grade Camp, Fine Arts Week, STEM Day, and of course, Play Day! Thank you for making it a wonderful year.
I wanted to do a final Paws Press to announce that I will not be returning to Jack London next year. This is a very hard decision for me to make because I have loved every minute getting to know the wonderful families at Jack London Elementary School. I am not returning because I am losing time with my little girl that I will never get back. I am missing seeing her grow up and missing spending time with her. I cannot put in 110% at Jack London (which is what this school deserves) and balance time with her as well. The good news is that I will be taking a 50% position in the district as the new professional developer and will continue to be working with our school in that capacity. Thank you again for all of your amazing welcomes and I have loved getting to know each and every one of you. I hope you all have a wonderful summer that is relaxing, restful and full of fun!
With love and respect,
Dr. Tina Rasori

2019 Color Run Was A Great Success!
I’m excited to announce that POEF made a little over $20,000 on the recent Fun Run. The money will be distributed on a per pupil basis to be used by teachers on field trips or student enrichment.
Because this event was so successful, not only in fundraising, but in building community, we have scheduled another Fun Run for May 1, 2020.
POEF is looking forward to continuing to provide support for the students of the Piner-Olivet School District.
Thank you to all the volunteers that made this event happen. We could not have done it without you.
