HES List Server Message
February 22, 2018
Hello Holland Elementary Families,
As you can imagine, the children seemed to really enjoy the gift of warm weather on Wednesday from mother nature. The windows were open at school and recess was the place to be. I don't believe that we've completely escaped winter, but the higher temperatures were a pleasant surprise for February.
Tricky Tray is finally here! The Holland PTO’s Tricky Tray Silent Raffle is the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and it takes place on Friday (4:00pm-8:00pm) and Saturday (10:00am-3:00pm). Winners will be called on Saturday at 2:00pm, and you do not have to be present to win.
Holland parent, Kelly LaFrado, will be making balloon animals for the children from 6:00pm-7:00pm on Friday. And, Galaxy Dance and Fitness Center will be performing on Saturday.
Below, you can see the list of trays along with pictures of a few. Can't wait to see who will be Principal for a Day with me!

Children should start thinking about what their entry could be! Projects can be an experiment, a demonstration, a scientific collection, or information on a scientific topic. Students can work individually or in a small group.
Students may begin picking up their tri-fold boards in the office.
