Important Notes & Upcoming Events
Friday Folders: Friday Folders are coming home this afternoon. Please review your student's weekly review with him/her, sign it, and return it to school in the Folder on Monday. If it is not returned by Tuesday your student will not attend HOT Time.
Reading Logs: Most of you have been diligently signing your student's reading log. They are checked every morning so make sure your student brings it to school each day!

Tuesday: 10:30am - 11:40am Math MAPs in the computer lab.
1:45 library - don't forget to bring your library book to return or renew

Me on the Map - Understanding where we are located geographically. This will lead us into our California Regions Project next week.
CA Run
We are running like crazy! So far Room 1 has made it up the coast to Hollywood and are now on our way to San Francisco. We have 324 miles to go. Every 5 laps around our field is 1 mile and we typically run almost 30 miles in a single morning!

In our Character Ed. program, Second Step we are currently learning about EMPATHY. This goes along with our Character Trait of the quarter...KINDNESS. We are trying to work on being kind and empathetic to people in every aspect of our life.

Our class is currently with Coach Mike in P.E. and Mrs. Cramer in art. We will be here for 6 weeks and then rotate to science and computers.
