Centennial's "Newsday Tuesday"!
Centennial Elementary Families' Weekly Newsletter 8/30/22
A Note from the Principal
Hello, Centennial Families!
I hope that our newsletter finds you and yours doing well today!
Thank you to all who were able to attend our "Back to School Nights" last week! We want so much to work with you in every way possible to ensure your child succeeds! School is well under way, with our students and staff working together to make our school run smoothly--learning is happening everywhere you look!
Next week, teachers will begin our Fall assessments for reading and math; they will use this information to individualize instruction for your child(ren) and share the results on or before your Fall Family Conference times in October.
This weekend is a 4-Day Weekend / Student Holiday as Monday is Labor Day and Tuesday, September 6 is a staff collaboration day (these days are composed of all staff working together to strategically utilize information to implement data / curriculum / professional learning and processes that move students forward). We wish you a lovely and memorable long weekend and look forward to seeing you back on Wednesday, September 7th!
With kind regards and appreciation for you!
Ellie Webb, Principal
