The History and Traditions in Africa
They went caroling up and down the village, people were woke up by the carolers. When they went caroling they usually sung Christmas Carols by Candlelight. On Christmas Eve children would walk up and down the streets singing Christmas carols and shouting “Christ is coming! Christ is coming! He is near!” When they went to the celebration of the birth of Jesus and if you didn’t bring a gift then you couldn’t go. Sometimes people would go camping when they were on Christmas break.

He does leave gifts. He puts them under the Christmas Tree (all around). His names are Sinterklaas and Kervader. He puts things in people’s stockings, too.
