Pleasant Valley Family Newsletter
October 22, 2021
Our mission is to empower and inspire a community of lifelong learners and leaders!
Dear Pleasant Valley Families,
Our Fall Parade and party will take place on Friday, October 29th. As a friendly reminder, we ask that parents send costumes in a bag for students to change into after lunch. We also ask that students leave any costume accessories, including full face masks or toy weapons at home. Weather permitting, we plan to hold the parade outdoors. If any parents wish to see the parade, they can park in the subdivision behind the building. Our route is: walk up past Arlington School, left on Riechert, right on Whitaker, right on Tracy Trail, right on Chateau, back to Pleasant Valley. No parents will be permitted in the building for parties unless they are one of the two assigned room parents for a classroom. If sending treats, please make sure that they are individually wrapped as most will be sent home.
Report Cards will be available for viewing on October 29th. Report Card/Home Access Parent Direction.
Going forward, I will be sending out the PV Family Newsletter every other week, as I did prior to the Spring of 2020. Please expect the next newsletter to be on November 5th and every other Friday after that.
We are hiring noon monitors if you would like to work with our Stars for a couple of hours every day! Adults that are interested can apply at Frontline Parma City School District.
Click here to read PCSD's COVID Protocols for 2021-22. Parents need to check their children for symptoms before they leave for school each day and keep them home if they are sick or exhibit any of the symptoms listed in the SYMPTOM CHECK area of the document. Masks are mandatory on buses and now mandatory inside the school. We will distance to the extent possible in the school.
Thank you for helping to make Pleasant Valley the wonderful school that it is! As always, I want to thank you for your partnership with Pleasant Valley! We are very appreciative of all of you! Should you ever have any questions, concerns, or just a great idea you would like to share, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the main office at 440.885.2380 weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
