Social Skills: Self-Control, Following Directions, Respect

5-8 Class

Reading: Figurative Language and researching careers to write a report.

Math: individualized lessons on Moby Max (Computer based math program)

Social Skills: Continue working on Coping Skills and Team Building Skills

School Board Meeting

On Tuesday, Novemver 16, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. is the regular session of the board meeting.

K-4 Parents' Corner

  • Encourage your child to read to you. Help him or her sound out difficult words.
  • Look for "word problems' in real life. Some examples might include: "If you open a new carton of eggs, and you use four eggs to cook dinner, close the carton and ask your child how many eggs are left.

5-8 Parents' Corner

  • Invite your child to read his or her writing out loud to other family members. Ask questions about your child's word choices and ideas.
  • Look for "word problems" in real life. Ex. Doing arithmetic with decimals, for example when balancing a checkbook.
