Christmas Candy for Soldiers
Student Council and K-Kids have offered to help volunteers for the Soldier Support Group fill 200 stockings this year for our troops overseas by donating candy to the cause. Central's Christmas Candy Drive for the Troops will run from Mon, Nov 11-Thurs Nov 21. Stockings will then be sent overseas by Saturday, Nov 23. The more candy we can provide for this project, the better!! Candy may be left on the table by the cafeteria between the dates listed above! Thanks for considering brightening the soldiers’ holiday season by donating a bag of individually wrapped candy or box of candy bars!!

LOSE ANYTHING?
Attendance Letters
As much fun as vacation are, please illeviate from taking vacations while school is in session. When a student misses several days for vacation, then falls ill, it causes unnecessary attendance issues. When absences accumulate, this leads to attendance issues that must be addressed. Although school work can be made up, It is important to remember that the learning that occurs in the classroom when a child is absent can not be replaced.
Always call the school before 9:00 a.m. if your child is going to miss a day or arrive late for any reason. Remember, if your child is ill and you take them to see a doctor, always ask for a note for school. Have your child bring the doctor's note with them once they return to school from thier illness.
It is our goal to keep the line of communication open between home and school so we can work together to acheive what is best for your child's education.
We WON!!!
