7/8 Academy
Weekly News - January 7, 2022
Dear 7/8 Academy Families,
I hope everyone had a safe and restful holiday break. The break was much needed by both students and staff, and it’s been great to see everyone back in the building.
With COVID numbers on the rise in the county, it’s important that students continue to wear masks properly, keep their hands cleaned or sanitized, and do not attend school when they are feeling unwell. Please feel free to reach out to the office to talk to the school nurse if you have any questions about whether or not your student should attend school. Students who are waiting for a COVID test result should NOT attend school until a negative test result is received.
We’ve had many questions about yearbooks, and we now have them available to order. Ordering details are listed below. Also, see important information listed below for 8th grade students and Crossover. Please contact the office with any questions.
Happy new year!
Shannon Walker

East Coast Trip - IMPORTANT UPDATE
All students and chaperones will be required to be fully vaccinated (2 shots - 30 days apart) to go on the East Coast Trip. Students and chaperones will be required to show their vaccination card before getting on the bus Saturday morning June 4th, along with their picture id. This is because students and chaperones will have to show their vaccination card upon entering many of the buildings/activities on the trip.
