Monday Memo
Week of January 27th- 31st
Greetings, CCE!
I want to share with you one other B that I learned about this weekend as I attended the TCWSE conference for women that was powerful and stayed with me. The B that I learned was "Be open to what could be."
The speaker reminded the audience about perspective and consciously being mindful of our own energy and what we bring into our own personal and professional lives. We were all reminded and inspired to think about events, roles, positions, challenges, etc as to what those would all look like in their "What if..." positive state.
But getting to the "What could be" does not come in a leap and definitely doesn't occur over night. To get to the Big Things, you have to start with the small things daily. You can't get to enjoy your "What Ifs" if you don't take the first small step and make conscious decisions about the good choices and positive thinking that it takes to make the first small step. Then we have to keep making those small positive steps, over and over....and over.......
Those small steps over a period of time can lead us to our "Could Be". That "Could Be" depends on you, no one else, but you. So take today and this week to Be faithful to the little things and find ways every day to make everything and everyone around you better!
What will your "Could Be" really become if you commit to really making it a reality?

Thinking of Recommending Retention for a Student? - What you need to know about February Teacher Conferences
What you should know~
1. Face to face conferences should be held in the spring with parents of students who teachers are concerned about either academically or behaviorally, or anyone that is in danger of being retained by March 2nd, 2020.
3. If you are contemplating retention of a student, notify your principal before it is discussed with the parent; the proper paperwork must be completed. All students being considered for retention MUST be receiving interventions.
Please schedule a time to discuss any students who you are recommending retention with your Principal. Mrs. Pachicano will share information that you need before you hold that conference with your parent.
Pies are on their way!
This week the winners for Key Lime & Cookies & Cream Pies will be provided their pie!
Thank you for allowing me to share my favorite pies/recipes and working on being key ingredients for CCE's Recipe for Success! Yes, I actually baked them myself... :)
