Closing of CCPS Schools & Offices
As of today, Cecil County has a 6% COVID-19 positivity rate and 15.4 cases per 100,000. Due to this increase, all CCPS schools and offices will shut down effective immediately through December 7th. All students will participate in virtual learning and all staff should plan to telework. Maintenance, Operations, and Food/Nutrition staff will receive direction from leadership regarding where/when to report.
Buildings will not be able to be accessed until November 23rd. At that time, students or staff who need to retrieve materials from the building may do so by making arrangements with the building administrator or supervisor.
We will continue to work closely with the Cecil County Health Department and will keep families and staff updated as we receive any additional information going forward.
Students & parents can use this form to indicate the need for support and resources in the areas of: Academic Support, College/Career Guidance, Personal/Social Support, Mental Health Resources, Family Support Resources, & Community Resource Support.
