Aiming to Keep You Informed

October 12, 2018

From the Office

Thank you to those who came out to the District 13 Parent University last night presented by Lisa Westman on Standards Based Grading practices! If you missed it you can watch the live broadcast on YouTube thanks to Mr. McCall!

It was a busy 4-day week at Westfield! Wednesday, our 6th grade was invited to Lake Park High School for a drama performance. Today, many Warriors represented our school well for Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Also today, the 7th graders had their field trip to the Chicago Art Institute; make sure you ask them what their favorite piece was!

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on Monday, November 19th and Tuesday, November 20th from 1:00pm - 5:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm on both days. The dinner break for staff is from 5:00 - 6:00pm. Each 10 minute time slot will consist of an 8 minute conference time and a 2 minute travel time. On Wednesday, October 17, parents will receive an email with the link for signing up for conferences. This link will also be accessible on the website at that time.

Have a wonderful weekend!
