YAY for 2019
During this past week our kindergarten, first and second graders had two days of MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing. This test will help us see the great progress made and let us know areas we can help each student. All students worked hard as they tested, and I am proud of everyone.
We will continue with our third, fourth and fifth graders MAP testing this week. Please encourage them to take their time and do their best.
Just like everyday please make sure your child is going to bed on time so they are well rested for each day of school. Elementary students need about 9 to 10 hours of sleep each night.
Being on time each morning is extremely important since our instruction begins at 7:45. When the tardy bell rings at 7:45, all students must enter the front door that leads to the main office where a tardy pass is issued. All other doors into the building are locked. Those who are late are missing learning.
