FIRST AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it means:
Is that you can do anything you want and be in whatever religion.
SECOND AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it means:
Citizen must of had serve as a solider. Also, they could protect themselves & the government couldn't stop them own a gun.
THIRD AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it means:
No one could like go inside your house and sleep and eat your food w/out the permission of the owner.
FOURTH AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it means:
No one could go through your stuff and search for things w/out a real search warrant or something.
FIFTH AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it means:
If the Grand jury had enough evidence then, they could charge you. If they took your stuff they had to pay you.
SIXTH AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it means:
If you hit or excuse for something you have the power to stand up and, have a lawyer
SEVENTH AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it Means:
The jury or any other court can't bring up the case again. Jury can settle civil cases.
EIGHTH AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it means :
The punishment should be equal to the crime. Excessive punishment is not permitted.
NINTH AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it means:
Governor or anyone else can't take any rights from anyone.
TENTH AMENDMENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What it means:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the congress.
COURT CASE SUMMARY ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It said the state couldn't limit the kind of weapons citizen could have. First major ruling to keep the bear arms for personal reasons
Court Case: Gregg vs. Georgia/\ Amendment 8
Gregg was included in five different murder cases. He was accused for robbing & murdering.
Court Case: Sheppard vs. Maxwell Amendment 6
Sheppard was accused for killing his wife. The Supreme Court justices ruled that the case should have been delayed or moved.
