Mr. Corso’s Principal’s Message

Beginning Monday, April 19th, 2021, following Spring Break, Poway Unified will open middle schools to all in-person on-campus students for 4-days a week. This is an expansion of our in-person offering which is currently 2-days per week. We will combine our current cohort A/B to attend together, 4-days per week. You may choose to continue to have your child attend 2-days per week on their current assigned days. When we do combine cohorts, we will be keeping our present bell schedule. During lunch, students will be spread out on campus to increase social distancing. We are moving tables and tents to open up access for shade and seating throughout our campus.

Community Conversation on Racial Equity: PUSD is hosting another Community Conversation on Racial Equity for BMMS, Mt. Carmel High School and other feeder schools on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Bring Your Water Bottle: If your child is an on-campus learner, it would be helpful if they could bring a refillable water bottle with them each day. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our water fountains are turned off, but we have water bottle refill stations available for students.

Wild Life on Campus: From time to time, we see some critters on the BMMS campus. We are reminding students if they see a critter, tell an adult. Do NOT approach any animals, snakes or birds. Stay Safe Raiders!

Ala Carte Items at Lunch and Nutrition Break (9:50am): We are prepared to serve ala carte items at lunches and nutrition breaks. Sales will be by using pin pad and account numbers. No payments or cash will be accepted at the school site. All account deposits need to be made using My School Bucks. Add funds to your student's account: Apply for free and reduced meals:

We are excited to welcome back our students on-campus 4 days a week starting April 19. We also appreciate the hard work displayed by our virtual students.
