Center for International Education
Spring 2017
Meet Our New Interim Asst. Director, Mim!
I’m very excited to be working in the Center for International Education! I think having a global perspective has always been important but even more so in our world today. I grew up “international” having been born in Hong Kong and then in Iran till I was almost 18. I also worked and studied in the U.K. and visited over 45 countries. I’ve seen firsthand the importance of being open to new cultures, languages and belief systems. It’s exciting to be part of a team eager to help students as they pursue their studies at University of Washington- Bothell knowing they’re contribute different perspectives in the classroom. Likewise, what international students learn while here at UWB, they’ll impact others throughout their lives. I look forward to getting to know our international students!

Sridarsh initiated and implemented the first UWB International Student Career Panel. He represents the kind of students studying at UWB who are "BOUNDLESS". A business administration/ finance major with a minor in computer science, Sridarsh observed the challenges international students face in respect to job opportunities. He decided to do something about it and organized the event. He is also the president of Delta Sigma Pi at UW-Bothell. Read more about the event in UW Bothell News story here.
