-We are running very low on paper. We checked with another elementary and we have already spent double the amount of money on paper as the other elementary. At this time, we all need to make a concerted effort to reduce the amount of paper we are using. We need to use available paper, including colored paper. Given our current budget restraints we will not be able to purchase additional paper to match the rate that we are currently using the paper.
-We will be filming a bus behavior video for PBIS on Friday, January 29, during the 5th grade recess. The fifth graders will be our main movie stars for this video. Any staff members who would like to assist are welcome to help on Friday!
-There will be a parent informational meeting about the 5/6 building in the library from 6:30-8 PM on January 26. Please include this information in your emails/newsletters to parents.
-There will be a BLT meeting from 4:00-4:30 on Tuesday, January 26, in the Central Office Cafeteria. We will be talking about the proposed elementary phase-in next year with the testing at the beginning of the school year.
-Chad will be out of the building all day on Wednesday, January 27, for Venture's Training. Head Teachers, Waddell and Ghesquire will be in charge, if you need assistance.
-We are receiving requests for students to ride another bus home. If you receive a note about a child riding another bus home, the note must be given to Chad. Chad must sign off on the note and then Chad must call transportation to let them know that the bus change has been approved. This should only happen in very rare and extreme circumstances.
Bus Requests
We have been asked to share with parents that requests for students to temporarily ride a different bus (for any reason) can no longer be accommodated. Our buses are at capacity. We thank you for your understanding in this matter. If you have any further questions, please contact the Transportation Department at 419-874-3127.
-It's that time again! If you have an innovative educational idea that you need funding for, please fill out the Perrysburg Schools Foundation grant application and send it to Sarah Bedee at Toth. Please make sure that she receives all applications by Friday, January 29th. Thanks!
Pennies for Patients Blurb for newsletters/nightly emails:
Frank Elementary will be participating in a Service Learning Project during the week of February 1st-5th that will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS Society). We are very excited to provide this opportunity for our students to help others in our local area. This is a great way to help our students understand empathy, care, and concern for others.
During week of the 1st-5th of February, pennies will be collected in each homeroom. The proceeds from this Service Learning Project will be donated to the LLS Society. Each homeroom will participate in a friendly competition to see which homeroom can raise the most money.
If you wish, you could also donate online at the following link:
