Middle School sports requirements
Masks are to be worn at all times, by athletes, coaches and spectators. Until further notice, masks will be worn during competition and practices. Masks must fully cover the nose and mouth. Gaiters are not permitted to be worn by athletes.
Coaches will take attendance daily and turn it into the Athletic Director. No one is allowed to attend practice if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID, are not feeling well, or have been exposed to anyone with COVID in the past 14 days.
Athletes must bring their own waterbottle and towel if desired. Only athletes who are attending school in person will be allowed to change in the locker room, all others must arrive at practice or games in appropriate clothing.
Practice may not last longer than 2 hours. All practice activities complete within two hours.
Athletes must be socially distanced at all times they are not actively engaged in practice or a game, including waiting for rides home. Athletes will be supervised by coaches to ensure mask wearing and social distancing.
Physical contact such as High-fives and fist bumps are not allowed
There will be NO school provided transportation to Wednesday games. Guardians will need to transport athletes to and from the game site for all Wednesday games. Families will be surveyed to determine the need for transportation for away games. Students who are at home on asynchronous days or who are in HLA will need to provide their own transportation.
