What Are Rational Expressions?
A rational expression is nothing more than a fraction in which the numerator and/or the denominator are polynomials.
How to Solve Rational Expressions:
Simplifying
To simplify, one must create two factored binomials that multiply into the original equation.
Answer
Finally, if a binomial from both the numerator and the denominator match, you can remove them. Any leftover monomials or binomials are the final answer and you cannot factor any further.
