Twinsburg Speaks Spanish
The Library is launching a “Big Learn” in 2016. This year-long adventure for all ages will feature a variety of events, classes, library material, and language apps that will help the community learn a new language and explore the culture of Latin America. Join us for the Kick Off! Monday, January 25 from 6:45 - 8:30pm. Enjoy the music of Carlos Alberto Calabrese while savoring refreshments and learning more about the series of events to be held in 2016.

Junior Spelling Bee
The Library is hosting a spelling bee for 2nd and 3rd graders living in the Twinsburg school district. Register now through Monday, February 1 in person at the Library with a parent. The event takes place on Saturday, March 19 at 6:30pm.

Meet the author of The Dead Key and the 2014 Grand Prize Winner of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. Pulley will discuss her book and what led her to select the First Bank of Cleveland as its setting. Challengers who have read 50 books in 2015 will receive awards. Refreshments for all as well as opportunities to win prizes, including a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card! Register here.

Vintage Radio Show

Twinsburg Public Library's new Creative Lab is up and ready for you to make awesome stuff! To showcase it, we need teens to create recordings of some actual vintage radio show scripts from the 1940s and 1950s. Lend your voices and help create sound effects! The production will be posted on our website to be heard around the world. For teens in grades 7-12. Register here.

"Travel" around the world with us. Our first stop is Canada. Create a craft and learn about the country. If you are able, please bring a Canadian dish to share. Find recipes online or in many of our great cook books in the collection. Are you Canadian or have you been to Canada and have something to share? Please bring it in! Everyone will get a stamp in their Tiger Travels Passport. For families with children ages 5 and up. Register here.
