Happy Sunday Families!

This week we have been spoiling our office staff for Administrative Professionals Appreciation Week! We love them and all the support they give to our students, staff, and families.

Some of our YMCA Arts Academy students traveled to Jacksonville High School for the production of Big Fish and Kindergarteners and first graders went to see the play, Aesop's Fables. Third through fifth graders completed the end of year check-ins, fourth and fifth graders enjoyed their field day on Friday. We were fortunate to have the Coast Guard and Fraternity brothers join us to lead some of the games.

Coming up this week is our Apex Fundraiser. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we need your help! Students will earn pledges from family and friends for every lap they run on May 12. We'll have daily challenges with classroom winners and teachers will receive 10% of the profits their class raises to buy things for their classroom and students. Be on the lookout for the daily challenge over the next two weeks and we hope you'll join us for the run on May 12.

Important Reminders

1. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Please help us show our teachers how much they are loved by sending in sweet notes and other tokens of appreciation throughout the week.

2. Interim reports go home on Thursday.

3. Second and third grade students will participate in Field Day on Friday, May 6. Snack sales will begin Monday.

4. Fifth grade students will travel to the middle school for orientation on Friday.
