What are you learning about this week?
Reading: Point of View
The point of view of a story is the perspective from which a story is told. Writers may choose to tell their story in on of three perspectives: First person: using "I" or "we," Third person: "he," "she," or "it," which can be limited or omniscient, Second person: "you," the least common point of view.
Questions to ask at home:
Who is narrating, or telling, the story?
Is it being told in first person or third person?
How does the point of view change the message of the story?
