Do you know a (high school or college) student OR are you student who would like to fulfill their 1001 - 1002 foreign language credits this summer?! Well look no further! The University of North Georgia's Summer Language Institute applications are currently open!
Students can start their journey at UNG (Dahlonega campus) and go from a beginner to intermediate proficiency level in just six weeks.
Summer 2022 SLI Dates:
June 18th - July 29th
Summer 2022 Application Deadlines:
Early Application: March 4, 2022
Application Due: April 22, 2022
The Summer Language Institutes are carefully tailored language programs of study in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Russian.
SLI academics are challenging, and thoroughly rewarding. By successfully completing this 6-week summer session, SLI participants earn 8 academic credit hours to fulfill the 1001-1002 foreign language required for most bachelor’s degrees at UNG.
SLI activities are engaging and fun, with emphasis on learning the target language along with its related cultures.
