What to Do on the First Day of Virtual Learning
- Visit the district Launch Pad for Distance Learning
- Students should be sure to login by 7:40 am and go to Google Classroom.
- Students should click the "join" button for each class.
- Once each student has joined the classroom, he/she should go to their Google Calendar app.
- Once they are in the Google Calendar app, they will see their scheduled meets for the day with their teachers.
- Students should join the scheduled meets during those times.
- When students are not in Meets with teachers, they can work on assignments found in the Google Classroom.
Google Classrooms
Google Meets
Each student can expect to see their Core teachers during scheduled daily Google Meets. Elective teachers will be scheduling Google Meets 2-3 times per week.
How to Access a Google Meet
Students can access these Google Meets via their Google Calendar by clicking on the meet and then clicking "Join with Google Meet".
- 6th Gr. Core: 10:10-11:35 am
- 7th Gr. Core: 8:10-9:40 am
- 8th Gr. Core: 1:30-3:00 pm
Core Google Meets Mondays & Fridays
- All Grades: 12:30-2:55
Elective Google Meets Tuesday-Thursday
These meets will vary due to the varying schedules of elective teachers. You child should watch their Calendar for these Meets (at least once during T-TH with the exception of PE, Family Consumer and Tech Ed classes).

What To Do & Where To Go
What to Do
- Come to school no sooner than 7:30 am.
- Bring your schedule - it has the door to which you were assigned
- Go to the door to which you were assigned
- Wear a mask.
- Always stay at least 6 feet apart
Where to Go
- Walk to your assigned door.
- Line up by your advisory teacher.
- Students will have their temperature taken.
- Advisory teachers will take students to their classroom.
What Does My Day Look Like?
- Students will stay with their small advisory group throughout the day.
- Students will have 2 movement breaks during the day (please dress for the weather).
- Students will have lunch in their classroom.
- Students will have 2 electives (6th grade) or three electives (7th & 8th grade).
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast:
Breakfast will be available for purchase in advisory classrooms each morning. If your family receives free or reduced lunch, please make sure your paperwork has been submitted to the office.
Lunch:
Students can have a lunch from Chartwells or can bring a lunch from home.
