Spring and Summer 2024 ACT & SAT Testing
ACT & SAT are entrance exams used by most colleges and universities to make admission decisions. They are multiple-choice tests administered by ACT & College Board (SAT).
The purpose of these tests are to measure a high school student's readiness for college and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants. College admission officers will review standardized test scores alongside your high school GPA, the classes you took in high school, letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors and mentors, extracurricular activities, admissions interviews, and personal essays. How important your test scores are in the college application process varies from school to school.
While some colleges and universities have become "test optional" or removed ACT & College Board (SAT) testing requirements from admission, many schools still require these test scores for financial aid or merit-based scholarships.
Will These Tests Be Available Through Richardson ISD?
National Saturday Testing
