Meet Our 2018 Candidates:
Christian Sharek
Christian Sharek, a sophomore at Rimrock High School, is one of the candidates for the 2018 Mr. Rimrock competition. Christian decided to run for Mr. Rimrock because he thought that it would be cool. Christian Sharek thinks he will win with comedy and getting people to laugh. His favorite memory at Rimrock was being called the “mysterious kid” in one on the yearbooks. At 16 years old, Christian is dedicated to making kids see that bullying is not okay and that it shouldn’t be tolerated. His parents, Lori Morrison and Brent Sharek, are very proud that Christian is doing this. Christian wants to encourage kids to be themselves, just like him. Christian was encouraged to run for Mr. Rimrock by teacher Ms. McKinney and students, Shelbi Ward and Naya Bradshaw. “He is very talented!” they both agree. Some of Christian’s talents are playing video games, eating food and being awkward.
Enjoy this quote from this Mr. Rimrock hopeful, “If it doesn’t look like chicken, don’t eat it.”

Koby Kunsky
Koby Kunsky is a sophomore candidate for Mr. Rimrock 2018. A native Idahoan, Koby was born in Boise and is the son of Jake and Brooklyn Kunsky and Carina Martinez. He has ten younger siblings and finds that being the oldest is extra challenging due to the higher expectations on him to be responsible. Koby has been a student at Rimrock since the 8th grade and identifies the teachers as his favorite part of the Rimrock experience. He decided to compete in this year’s Mr. Rimrock competition because it sounded fun. Though he is nervous, Koby has plans to boost school spirit should he be selected as the next Mr. Rimrock.
Mr. Kunsky states the fact that he has a heart to help others as his strength and his short temper as his weakness. His favorite childhood memories include dirt bike riding and hunting elk and ducks. Due to the fact that he loves being outdoors, Koby plans on becoming a Fish & Game officer when he grows up.
Levi Nanney
This year, Rimrock junior Levi Nanney is a candidate for the Mr. Rimrock Competition! He was born in Boise, Idaho on June 27, 2000 to Ellis and Linda Nanney. Being very athletic, his sports interests vary from football, track, baseball and bull riding, of which baseball is his favorite. He also really loves Chinese food. His ultimate goal in life is to have no worries! The reason he decided to try out for Mr. Rimrock this year is because he wants to try new things. He is also really glad to have new opportunities in his life.
Todd Marvin
Todd Marvin is a 16 yr old junior at Rimrock High School. He was born in Mountain Home, Idaho, was raised in Grand View, and currently lives in Bruneau. Todd is interested in many things at the high school, including sports, drama and any other extracurricular activities. He enjoys playing football and spending time with friends. Todd is a very creative person and he sees himself as a compassionate and loving person. Being the oldest of five kids, he cares for their well-being and getting them rides to school. His idea of a perfect day would be anything that involves his girlfriend, Allison Hall. After high school, Todd plans to attend a tech or trade school to advance his learning in mechanics. If he was elected for Mr. Rimrock, he would try to do everything he can to benefit the students’ experience at Rimrock.
