Hurricanes are TROUBLE MAKERS!
A hurricane is a huge storm.It can be up to 600 miles across and have strong winds spiraling inward and upwards at speeds of 75 to 200 Miles per hour. Hurricane lasts for over a week, moving 10 to 20 miles per hour over the ocean. The center of the storm is it's calmest part
Hurricane damage
hurricane damage is the worst, it affects the whole city or place it is happening in. At the end of the hurricane, the place it happened in is completely destroyed. All the houses are gone the electricity doesn't work, people die from the strong winds, and pets are dead.
Fresh Water Flooding
Hurricanes are huge tropical storms and dump many inches of rain over a widespread area in a short period of time. Anyone living the Atlantic coast, the golf coast and the Caribbean should be prepared for hurricanes during hurricane season.
Wind damage
The strong, at least 74 mph of 199 km\hr, winds of a hurricane can cause widespread destruction far inland of coastal areas, destroying homes, buildings, and infrastructure.
