Language Arts:
Students will explore multiple genres in order to determine the author's purpose.
Students will build their phonological skills in order to develop their writing.
Math:
Students count forward and backward to at least 20 with and without objects. Students count a set of objects up to at least 20 and demonstrate that the last number said tells the number of objects in the set regardless of their arrangement or order.
Due Friday 10/4
Make a list of 5 things that you like to eat. Pick your favorite from the list and draw a picture of it. Sound out your words to help you spell the best you can. Remember to include your name.
October 7 - 11
Language Arts:
Students will recognize characteristics of folktales and fables in order to maintain meaning. This unit focuses on:
Author’s purpose
Retelling main events
Students will build their phonological skills in order to develop their writing.
Math:
Students read, write and represent whole numbers from 0 to 20 with and without objects and pictures.
Homework:
Due on Friday 10/11
Please answer the following question on any sheet of paper. You must show how you solved the problem, not just write the answer! (You can draw pictures etc). Remember to write your name!
