Human Rights Day is annually observed on December 10th, to commemorate the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights proclaims the inalienable rights which everyone is entitled to as a human being -- regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, language, national origin, or other status.
