Re-implementing: Harvest & Produce Sharing Procedure
- Harvest & put ALL produce on the picnic table
- Complete garden maintenance
- Once harvest & maintenance are finished, Weldon (or the Lead for the day) will call for all gardeners to select produce for their families. If you need to leave early or have a need for additional produce, please talk with Weldon.
Member spotlight: Bill Collins
Meet Bill Collins! He is married to Jan and has been a St. Michael's gardener for the past 3 years. Bill put in the drip system for the garden last year and has done so again this year to help keep the garden alive. He is part of the celebrate life ministry and is also a Eucharistic minister. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in marketing and management. He retired from Liberty Mutual after 35 years. He is an avid saltwater fisherman and enjoys the occasional trip to Winstar. Bill loves his fellow gardeners, the recipes, and all that he has learned while gardening. When asked, Bill couldn't think of anything that he doesn't like about the garden. Thanks Bill for all of your hard work.
Lettuce Seeds
Chris would like for anyone who is interested to help themselves to lettuce seeds from her plot (see pic above).
