From the Principal's Desk
Hello Rose Pioneer Families,
Thank you so much for a wonderful year of learning! During all of the challenges associated with the pandemic, the staff at Rose Pioneer has been very fortunate to have you as collaborative partners; your support has been fantastic and very much appreciated!
A lot of very important information came home in your child's folder yesterday. The ST Math Challenge is underway and many have asked how to access Clever and Schoology from a home device how that students have turned in their school issued device. On the bottom of the "tip sheet," each child's HAS email address and password has been attached. Use this information to keep your child engaged in the ST Math Challenge and other important learning programs in Clever and Schoology over the summer.
Next year's calendar and School Supplies list were also in each student's take home folder. Those items are listed here, as well.
You can find your child's report card posted in Skyward. Look along the left side of the landing page when you login to find your child's report card. If you need assistance with your login information, please contact the school office or click on the "forgot login/password" feature on the Skyward login page.
iReady reports for your child's three (3) diagnostics are also shared in folders. This information shows your student's growth over the school year. Have a conversation with your child about this information and ask them about future math and reading goals they have.
Kids Read Now books are starting to be shipped to your address for students in Y5s - 3rd grade. Use the postcard that will be sent to your address to see the one below for more information. The app is a great way record the books that your student reads!
Below, you will note the enrollment process for Y5s and Kindergarten for next school year. If you know anyone with young children, please forward the information to them. Please also note our annual Health and Enrollment Fair in August; come out and join us!
Yearbooks will arrive in August and will be distributed the first or second week of school. Middle school sixth grade students will have their yearbooks delivered to Holly Middle School. If you move over the summer, please contact us in late August with your address and we'll mail it to you.
Have a safe and enjoyable summer!
Sincerely,
Michael Beattie
