Binary code
What they Are And What They Do
Binary
Binary is a 2 base code . And as it is a 2 base code it only uses 2 numbers (1 and 2) .
1 is on and 0 is off .
Binary can be found in two forms 4 bite (nibble) and 8 bite (byte)
Also binary is used in computers to store memory , There are 8 numbers (1,2,4,8,16,32,64,108 and 216) and they all add up to 256.
Like if we wonted to get 17 it would be 00010001 as you see 1 means that 16 and 1 are on and the other numbers are of
Binary
As you see the picture to the right is binary and as you see it is just 0 or 1 and they have 8 numbers in each line .
Examples of Denary and Binarys
Binary is used for storing data
And
Denry is used for translating binary
Denary
The decimal numeral system (also called base ten or occasionally denary) has ten as itsbase. It is the numerical base most widely used by modern civilizations.
Binary clocks
A binary clock is usually a clock which displays traditional sexagesimal time in a binary format. Originally, it showed each decimal digitof sexagesimal time as a binary value, but presently binary clocks also exist which display hours, minutes, and seconds as binary numbers.
