Weekly Update
We hope this week's newsletter finds HPE families healthy and safe! As we head into the final two weeks of the school year, our attention is beginning to shift towards end of year activities and celebrations. While this has been a unique, and at times challenging, school year, there have been so many moments and accomplishments to celebrate. As you will see in the video message this week, we are encouraging everyone to recognize and share those celebrations with the rest of the HPE community. Taking time to focus on the positive is always important. If you would like to join in this celebration, please post pictures or messages to Twitter and tag @HPEPatriots. You can also include #ItsAGreatDayToBeAPatriot.
The final week of school will include activities for each classroom to celebrate their year together. HPE teachers and staff are working to finalize ways to celebrate as grade levels and as a whole school community. Careful consideration is being given to how we can celebrate as a community while observing state and local guidelines. We miss and care about our students so much and nothing would make us happier than to see them. Because the safety and health of our community is so important, however, we are looking to find ways to celebrate together either virtually or at a distance. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we plan.
We hope you and your child will view the weekly video below from Miss Magill, Mrs. Morgan, Mrs. Landez, and me. Remember that we are here to support kids unconditionally and want to also support families as much as possible during this uncertain time. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

4th Grade Parents
Knowing that our kids are missing year-end celebrations to close out their time at HPE, Emily Powell and I worked with local business, Sharp Printing, to create yard signs. This is completely optional, but we are sharing this information in case other families are interested in these signs. There are two options: a) no name added or b) add a name. Both are the same cost.
Again, this is completely optional. If you choose to order, YOU MUST CHOOSE LOCAL PICKUP during the checkout process or you will be charged for shipping. See link below if you are interested in ordering.
